Saffron House is a luxury private residence in Srinagar . It is recently completely renovated, but with much love, care and attention to detail Saffron House has kept the typical house architecture unique to Kashmir . The house has the latest facilities and is furnished with art and decor from the region.

Saffron House has four large bedrooms and modern en suite bathrooms, a library, health room and two dining rooms. Sitting in private mature gardens with large trees, the house offers you privacy, peace and tranquility. We encourage you to take time in the gardens and listen to the sounds of nature as you paint, read or just breathe the fresh air.

The main living room and bedrooms have large open hearth fires for the winter months, to warm you up after a days skiing in Gulmarg.

Our house manager and resident Kashmiri chef will ensure you will be satisfactorily looked after. Transport is provided either in our classic Ambassador motorcar or our 4 wheel drive jeep for the one hour drive up the mountains for trekking, camping, horse riding or skiing.

The house is a short walk to the lake, world class golf course or a stroll in the hills. There is a ten minute drive to the old city to experience a step back in time.
